Congratulations P-CEP Journalism Students!
Park journalism students brought back 24 awards from the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association state competition in Lansing on Monday, April 15, taking first place in four Division 1 categories. Those placing first are Shannon Shaver & Brian Quintos (front page/newspaper style), Brian Quintos (sports feature photo), Brian Quintos (entertainment page/spread), and the yearbook staff for its student life coverage. Quintos earned 14 awards for photography and design, the most state honors on record for any individual journalism student in recent Park history.

April-May Classic Film Club Meetings
All students are welcome at any viewing; club meets every Thursday (unless otherwise noted) in Mr. Krzisnik's room, Salem Room 2217. Films start promptly at 2:30. Enjoy a classic movie and meet new friends! Free popcorn!

Culinary Team Featured Segment on Fox 2
Fox 2 Detroit featured the P-CEP Culinary Team in their cooking segment on April 4, 2013. The State Champion team is preparing for Nationals later this month and will be highlighting some of their skills for their fans in Metro Detroit.
