Schedule Pick Up

P-CEP Schedule Pick-Up (all grades)

P-CEP students will be invited to campus in late August to pick up their class schedule, take a student ID photo, pick up text books, etc. Watch your mailbox in August or check the website this summer for fi nal details. Schedule pick-up is tentatively scheduled for the week of Aug. 22, 2011.

Students should bring completed emergency form and check made payable to "P-CCS" for any outstanding debts.

Note: P-CEP is no longer collecting the $25 book deposit fee. Students who have deposits on file will receive their funds when they exit P-CEP (graduate or transfer).

Note: Book returns will not be accepted in the schedule pick-up line.  Books must be returned to the Book Room prior to schedule pick-up. 

All students will be photographed for a student ID.  Student ID cards will be distributed 'on-the-spot.'  Please stay at the station until ID card is received. Picture packets may also be purchased.

Schedule Changes or Corrections
Students may make a schedule change for the following reasons ONLY:
1. misplacement in a class
2. failure in a prerequisite class
3. enrollment in a co-op program - co-op teacher must complete form first
4. a hole in a schedule (missing class)

Only students with the problems listed above will be able to see their counselors before school starts. (Counselors will be available starting the day of schedule pick-up.) Changes must be made by Sept. __. Counselors will be focused exclusively on errors or obvious misplacements. Please do not call the counselor to make changes. Changes can only be made in person. 

Book Room

The P-CEP Book Room, located at Salem High School, will be open from 7:30 a.m. - noon on:
- July 28 and Aug. 15 & 16 2011

Note: Book returns will not be accepted in the schedule pick-up line. Books must be returned to the Book Room prior to schedule pick-up.
The Book Room will accept payment for lost books only.

Bring to Schedule Pick-Up

Required - Completed Emergency Information Form - Parents need to carefully complete and sign this form. Students will not be admitted to Schedule Pick-Up area without this completed form. (insert in P-CEP Communicator)

Required - Payments of Fines / Debts

  • Current students - if you have outstanding debts or fines - bring payment or return the books or property; you will not receive your schedule until debt is paid or missing materials are returned. Note: Book returns will not be accepted in the schedule pick-up line.  Books must be returned to the Book Room prior to schedule pick-up.

  • Yearbook Order [PDF]
  • School Pictures - a photo for student ID will be taken at schedule pick-up at no charge. Please follow dress code regulations. See flyer for more information about purchasing school pictures (order form sent seperately from Lifetouch).
  • Homecoming Dance Tickets - Students may purchase their Homecoming tickets for $20 online only. Tickets do not go on sale until Aug. 22 - a link will be on the main Park page on Aug. 22.  For Homecoming details, click here
  • Athletics: All athletes must have a physical completed and provide the from to their coach before their session begins.
  • Parking Permit application and online payment 

Suggested School Supplies 

P-CEP students will learn from each of their teachers on the first day of school suggested class supplies.

Open House

from 6 - 8:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers and learn more about the curriculum in each class

Since the purpose of this event is to provide information about our courses, teachers will not be able to discuss individual students. Discussion about your child’s progress will take place at parent-teacher conferences in mid-November.

Senior Parent Meeting: Parents and seniors are invited to meet with their counselors at 5 p.m. prior to the Open House.
