Class of 2016 Council, Salem
At each school, each class has a Class Council that is responsible for planning activities and making decisions regarding the individual class events. The Class of 2016 Student Council is open to any Salem Freshman.
Class Councils focus on homecoming participation, prom planning, various community and school projects, and promoting enthusiasm and pride in our schools. Students do not need to be elected to serve their class as a council member; they need to indicate interest and attend meetings regularly. Class Councils typically meet weekly or bi-weekly as determined by the members and the advisor.
