It is with great sadness that we share funeral arrangements for Clara Weisz, Salem High School Math Teacher

Weisz, Clara M., June 12, 2012, age 50 of Plymouth. 

Loving wife of Scott. Devoted mother of Leslie (Erik Leitzell) and Jared. Dear sister of Schautel (Justin) Hartsock, Stacy (Jim) Fisk, James Chandler and Jeff (Jessica) Chandler. Daughter of Billy (Sheila) Chandler and the late Patricia Chandler. Daughter in law of Kenneth and Patricia Weisz. Dear sister in law of Mitch (Janet) Weisz and Col. (USMC) Bradley (Captain USN Karen Tsiantas) Weisz. Dear Aunt of Raymond Steele, Cheyenne and Makayla Chandler, and Kevin and Laura Weisz.

Clara served her country while serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as well as the Air National Guard. Clara taught Math for 15 years at Salem High School. And was the advisor for the Muslim Student Association.

Visitation Fri., June 15 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Vermeulen Funeral Home, 46401 W Ann Arbor Rd (between Sheldon & Beck) Plymouth. In State Sat., June 16 from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 7000 Sheldon Rd (S. of Warren) Canton.

This event is being held by the MSA club (Muslim Student Association) that she had been advising for the past two years, taking place in the MCWS mosque on Fri., June 15 at 3 p.m.  An opportunity to join together to remember a great mother, wife, teacher, advisor, woman, and so much more.
